My name is Helén Andersson Sears. I'm a mama, yogini, wife, coffee lover, sacred space holder, yoga teacher and creator of Living Bliss Yoga. Combining over 18 years of teaching yoga and movement, with my background as a dancer and movement analyst, I infuse my teaching style with movement and stillness, breath-work and visualizations, seasonal rhythms and deep relaxation. I draw my inspiration from nature, moving my body, music, art, women, creativity, my Scandinavian roots and the ancient teachings of yoga and its capacity for profound healing.
I took my first yoga class in 1998 in New York City. At the time I was an injured dancer and someone had told me to try yoga to heal my back injury. The practice didn’t only heal my injury but I embarked on a yoga journey that now has become a way of living.
Living Bliss Yoga was born from a deep desire to share my love for yoga and movement, my awe for nature and inspire people to cultivate a beautiful every day yoga and movement practice.
