When my daughter was born all of my routines and rituals went out of the window. It's just recently that I have been able to establish some. Routines and rituals are grounding, they are giving me comfort and rhythm. I find that they keep me steady both in body and mind. From this I've learned that I need to stop looking for stability in outer sources and instead find it within myself and my routines and rituals. What routines and rituals do you have that keeps you grounded and steady?
